After my first day volunteering in a classroom as an undergraduate, I knew that I was not intended to be a business major. I switched to Education, receiving my BA in Spanish and an MA in Education from SCU, and never looked back! For the past 20 years, I have worked in a variety of educational settings and have taught a diverse population of students in private, public, and military base schools. I believe that every child has the right to an education that challenges them to learn, think critically, and to express themselves. I want to instill a love for learning and serving others in my students. I encourage my students to have a growth mindset, help others, and laugh. I am a proud parent of a sixth-grade LASD student, and my wife and I have fostered several children. In my free time, I enjoy having barbecues with friends and family, skiing, camping, and cheering on the 49ers.
