Title:
2nd Grade Teacher
Michele Kibble

I’ve always worked with youth. From babysitting, to camp counseling, to working with young adults in my dormitory as a resident advisor, I’ve always loved working with young adults. I received my training from UC Davis in the 90’s, and was hired by LASD in 1997. I have been fortunate to have taught K, 1, 2, 3 and 6th with LASD, and I have also earned my Masters in Administration with a cohort of teachers from LASD in 2001. I helped to run our elementary academic and creative summer school programs for 4 years. I am a mother of two children who have also attended our elementary programs, and I feel fortunate to have the knowledge as a teacher and parent in our school district to help other families. I am incredibly lucky to have had the opportunities that have come my way, and to be able to have educated so many children that have come through LASD. In my spare time, I love going to my children’s sporting events, reading a good book, and going for a hike in one of our amazing parks. Life is good ;-)
